Gantt chart workflow automation - Category header
Hi all,
I have a question in regards to using a GANTT chart on Smartsheet. I have a chart ready to go for project management purposes, and I have created workflow automations to alert team members when their tasks are due. But as I tested it, I realised in the email that got sent, it only listed the individual tasks, and did not include the section header it was sitting under, so you could not tell what category the task was addressing. Is there a way to fix this, other than going through and adding category identifiers to every single task and sub-task?
Thanks in advance,

Hi @D.Harsch27
I hope you're well and safe!
You could add a so-called helper column that indicates the section.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

Hi, thank you for your suggestion - what would that look like - Just a column on the left hand side indicating title of category? it would have to be repeated for every single task and sub-task, correct?
