Hello,
Would it be possible to use Smartsheet anonymously so you don't see who is adding contents and if it's possible to disable activity log. The idea is to have a group of people providing content to our spreadsheet anonymously so they are not afraid to publish what they have in mind.
Thank you,
Hi @Aurelien
I hope you're well and safe!
Here's a possible workaround or workarounds
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!
Best,

To add to @Andrée Starå's idea, you could gather the feedback through a Form - as long as the security settings on the form don't need the user to log in to Smartsheet to fill it out, the entry will be anonymous.

Haha, teamwork! 🙂 There are a few other ways to do this, too (e.g. a published sheet with editable rights) but I think our two ideas are the most simple.

In this case, the users are part of my team and are licenced so they log in automatically to Smartsheet and have access to the access logs unfortunately.
Hi @Aurelien
With a Form, having them sign in to Smartsheet to fill out the form is a setting you can toggle off or on.
If this toggle is off (as above), then the Form submission is recorded as coming from "web-form@smartsheet.com" in the sheet:

Yes that works. But it is adding a 2 steps process. And using a form doesn't allow the Smartsheet users to see what has been posted before. So we may end up with duplicates and additional work in the back end to analyse the data provided. So not the best options unfortunately.
You could add the form and sheet/report to a Dashboard side by side so they could see what's there before submitting the form.
Would that work/help?
