Currently, attachments in Alert Someone workflow appear embedded at the bottom of the email. Can attachments be attached to the email instead? Our AP Department is utilizing Ephesoft OCR program and it cannot read the attachments at the bottom of the email. Please see sample attachments. Thank you.

You might be able to solve this in the short term by using Zapier. Have the email from the alert to go Email Parser by Zapier, get the attachment out if the email and then forward the email with the attachment to AP department.
An alternative, if you use Outlook and have OneDrive, might be to use PowerAutomate to do the same thing.
