Help - How do I hide the text????

I have created a form in SS from a PDF form. However, when I generate the document, it shows not only the value in the field, but the drop down instructions. It only occurs with drop down fields. I've included a screenshot below. How do I stop this?

I think the issue is with using the PDF as the basis for the sheet/form. Try creating a new form from the sheet itself.

When I have set up document generation, the process I've used is:

1. Create the sheet with all the fields I need.
2. Create a fillable PDF.
3. Under Generate Documents for a row, import the PDF and map the sheet fields to the PDF fields.
4. Create a standard Smartsheet form from the sheet for the user to fill out.
5. Set up automation to generate a document when a row is added.
