Uploading Templates
Is the below scenario possible in Smartsheet:
An Excel template is created that multiple users fill in on a weekly basis. From there, all completed Excel templates would then be uploaded into Smartsheet where the data would be combined for review.

How complex is the Excel template? Is it possible to convert it into a Smartsheet form or just have them fill it out in Smartsheet to begin with?

@Paul Newcome - I am currently using a form, however, it is becoming too complex.

Would it be possible for the users to use Smartsheet Sheets instead of Excel spreadsheets? If they are already used to filling in spreadsheets, it may not be too much hassle to just change the location of the spreadsheet they are filling out.
You could create a template spreadsheet in Smartsheet and have them each download as needed. From there you can use a report to collate the data from each.

Another option if Data Shuttle or converting the sheets over to Smartsheet isn't an option, you could have an Import structure instead, where you could copy and paste the range from the Excel sheet(s), and then it would populate where you need it to.
