Separating data into separate rows, under the original an auto generated column number
My department has an existing SmartSheet, to track travel. This sheet autogenerates a number based off of a form submitted for approval. The issue is that in the form staff are able to list ALL travelers for the trip, which results in the names being included in one cell. However, I need to be able to have each traveler in their own row to be able to track their travel individually. We also want them associated with the original approved trip number. Is there a way to accomplish this? I have tried adding rows, but it creates a new travel number.

You should be able to still track metrics on individuals using a HAS function in your formulas that are running the calculations.
