Pretty links?
Is there a way to use pretty links in Smartsheet? I can't figure out any way to do that.
This also points to a deeper problem: I would like a pretty link to show up in the Calendar App as one of the fields, because otherwise we get these long, ugly links that wrap around and take up the entire tile/entry. Any work-arounds?

I hope you're well and safe!
You can do it by using the Hyperlink feature.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic weekend!

What is the hyperlink feature? We have tried to make pretty links (e.g., assigning a link to a word or words, so that the link itself is hidden), and I cannot figure out how to do it.

Here's more information.

Hi, Andre,
That is great to know, and I can't believe I didn't know that I could do that. However, the problem remains that the Calendar App doesn't pick up the link, sadly. It doesn't recognize it as a link.
The scenario here is that I have it linked in the sheet - but you can see how it presents in the Calendar App, which might make using the app at all meaningless (we want the events in the Calendar to be able to link).
Any ideas? Please see attached screenshots. Thank you!

I suppose the limitation might be linked to the column type. It would be GREAT to have one of the column types be hyperlinks, so that it would show up in the other apps as a hyperlink. I'm guessing there is not a workaround? Sadly that might be a make-or-break for using Calendar App for this project.
