Do automations have an inactivity limit?

We realised that almost all of our automations, at random times, would freeze. We assumed due to no activity for over a month. Is that a thing? If so, is there a way to switch this feature off?
I've only just been able to look into it and I don't see any time settings. I'm starting to suspect the reasons might have been something else.
The automations were Teams notifications. I'm also suspecting it's an integration/permission matter.

I believe it may be an integration issue. There is nothing built into automations to turn them off after certain periods of inactivity. If you go to the sheet(s) that house the automations, are the automations "inactive"?
I started to dig through Microsoft's documentation but ran into a roadblock before I could find out if there may be some kind of setting on their side.
@Genevieve P. Do you know of any "time-out" policies on the Teams side?

Thank you for your time. It hasn't happened in a while, so I cant remember exactly what happens or what it says. I'll be more vigilant next time.
