Can I display row numbers in Dynamic View on a Dashboard?

We have a client dashboard with a dynamic view showing progress of our projects. Is there a way to have the row number, that typically displays on the report or sheet, show up on the left of the line?

I suggest adding an Auto Number column and using that for row ID.
