Hi,

Can anyone help me understand why my workflow won't run?

I have it setup so that anytime a new row is created it will assign a user to that row based on which property is selected. We have 3 different regions we operate our business in, so I have broken up those properties into 3 different conditions, so that the automation will assign the appropriate person. But when I enter in a new row nothing ever populates in the assigned column.

Can you paste your automation so we can see if there is any error in the automation.

It looks like it was just a system glitch or issue, because I was able to make it assign the correct users.

I have it set up as a Contacts list column and we've been using the dropdowns to add a person's name to a specific row. The hope is to then use the automation to automatically populate their role after their name is selected.

Is it populated manually? What column type is it exactly?

@Paul Newcome - It is populated manually after the contacts are input into to the column settings. My vision is to use the dropdown to select the person and then have the automation update the role based on the list of folks with the same title.

Is it multi-select or single select?

Right now it's set for single select.

I have a very similar setup (fewer names is all) in a test sheet, and it is working fine for me. You may need to reach out to support.
