How do I best link a list of entries in one column to an entry in another column?
What I'm looking for is the ability to create a list column called "Product" and have another column called "Options" which would have another list of entries filtered based on the selection in the "Product" column. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you able to provide some mocked up screenshots for context?

Sure, I'll do my best. Please keep in mind that I'm a neophyte at this :)
I have a list of Products (A-E) in one column:
And I need to link each of these products uniquely to items (Black - Red) in the Option column:
In this case, A links to Black and Brown, but B might link to Green, and so forth. This is purely hypothetical at the moment, but I'm trying to design a Smartsheet form process that would allow my users to enter product information and filter the available values in the Option column based on the Product selected in the form. I hope this is clear; if not, just let me know and I'll try to provide additional clarification.

You would need to set up separate option columns for each product. You can use logic in the form to only show the appropriate option column based on the product selected.

Ah ha. I was hoping that I could do it through a drop-down list, but if that's the solution, so be it. Much thanks for the help!
