Change direction of fields in workflow

I have created a workflow notification based on a date and a contact field, and it works perfectly (thanks to this forum). I added fields to my workflow, and overall it is great. However the fields stretch across my email and the user is forced to scroll to the right to see them all. Is there anyway to change the direction in which the fields show? Instead of horizontal by default, I would like the fields chosen to display vertically.

    @Sherry Fox I believe it depends on the way your automation is triggered. If you trigger the automation by date, or by Hourly, Daily, Weekly, it puts them horizontal because it's possible to have multiple rows meet the criteria. If your trigger is by event and "When triggered", it should display vertically.

    Do you have a screenshot of your workflow?

    @Samuel Mueller ,

    Then which template would you recommend. I want the trigger to be

    30 Days Out = Today

    Workflow sent to = Contact

    @Sherry Fox So the reason you won't get that to go vertical is because multiple rows could meet that criteria, which if they came up vertical would lead to a very long email - which is why I think they make that situation horizontal. And unfortunately, I don't think there is another option in that situation because it's triggered by a date, and not by an action like a change in the sheet.

    any chance you can reduce the number of columns included?

    @Samuel Mueller ,

    Yes, because of this issue, we have chosen to remove some of the fields that were currently displayed. It would be great if there was an option to select whether we preferred the fields to be listed horizontally or vertically.
