Help. COUNTIF

I have been trying to find the correct formula for my Smartsheet. I need to create a count of how many people have been approved, denied, in progress, or have an incomplete application. I need to pull this from another sheet. Any ideas?

=COUNTIF(Range from other sheet, "Approved") will count the Approved values in that range.

I would list each status type in like Column1 and then do that forumla in like Column2 and instead of typing "Approved", click on the cell to the left so it does a Column1@row formula. Then you can drag the formula down or do a column formula.

When you type in the formula you'll get the option to "Reference Another Sheet" and from there you can pick the other sheet.
