SUMIFS the two columns meet the criteria for each column (USA)

Hi, I am working on this formula,... What am I doing wrong? criteria 1 is the words --"2022 Donations" and criteria 2 is data between two dates for quarterly sum of $.

=SUMIFS([Paid $]:[Paid $], Codes:Codes, "2022 Donations", Date:Date, ">=01/01/2022, <=03/31/2022")

    You will have to try and use an AND statement for the dates. Try this in place of the dates in your formula:

    AND(>="01/01/2022",<="03/31/2022")

    Also, make sure your dates show exactly like what you have in your formula in the column. If it is like 01/01/22, you will have to notate it the same way in the formula.

  • Thank you for your reply. Sadly, the formula is still not working for me. The Date column is listed as a DATE column using the format 8/1/2022. I have tried the formulas inside the sheet and as "reference another sheet."

    I tried a couple of different versions you sent over, still need some help.

    =SUMIFS({2022 General Ledger Reporting - PAID$}, {2022 General Ledger Reporting - CODES}, "2022 Donations", AND(IF({2022 General Ledger Reporting - DATE(>="01/01/2022", <="03/31/2022"))

    Hi @Terry Naegelen

    I hope you're well and safe!

    Try something like this.

    =SUMIFS({2022 General Ledger Reporting - PAID$}, {2022 General Ledger Reporting - CODES}, "2022 Donations", {2022 General Ledger Reporting - DATE}, AND(@cell >= DATE(2022, 1, 1), @cell <= DATE(2022, 3, 31)))

    Did that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

    Be safe, and have a fantastic week!
