Automation between two sheets

Hi All,

Hope you're all well.

I am wondering if you can help me. I have two separate sheets - one of them is the tracker and the other one is the RAID log. There's one column that's same for both sheets - it is a job number.

All the issues gets submitted to the RAID log through the form.

Is there a way to create any sort of sheet crossing, formula, automation, so when the issue with the job number appears on the RAID log, Smartsheet automatically highlights or flags the row with the same job number in the tracker?

I use Vlookups but you will not be able to move columns around if you do since it is based on the column number that it is in the array - https://help.smartsheet.com/function/vlookup. You can also use Index and Match to avoid that but it's just something I'm not used to - https://help.smartsheet.com/function/match.

But you would just have the column in the other sheet and make it "=vlookup({{Job Number}}, {{Reference for RAID Log}}, {{Number of Column for Issue}}, false)"
