Can I add an email hyperlink on a dashboard in a rich text widget?

Hello, I can't seem to figure out if I can add an email address that will link the user directly to email (outlook) to send an email. If I highlight the email address in the rich text widget and select the link icon, the link doesn't work.

I'm just trying to save time so the user doesn't have to copy the email address and move to their email and paste in the recipent.

Unfortunately you cannot generate a new outlook email by clicking on a hyperlink in Smartsheet. Well, maybe with some sort of custom integration it could be possible, but in my experience it cannot be done. Also, it doesn't matter if you use a rich text widget or a shortcut widget, neither will generate a new email like you are describing.

It's a great idea though!
