Convert this formula to a column formula

This formula is working at the cell level but I would like to convert it to a Column formula so it automatically applies to new entries added to the sheet from a form.

=Weight2 - $Weight$1

@Ruth Schoonover It looks like you are using the $Weight$1 in all of the formulas on each row? Column formulas can't use references to specific rows. If $Weight$1 is intended to be a reference that stays constant, you can use a sheet summary instead then you would just subtract the Weight@row - [Sheet Summary Field]#
