Assistance regarding hyperlinks and checkboxes.

I am reaching out to seek your assistance regarding hyperlinks and checkboxes.
Here's the situation: I have a column in my smartsheet that contains the names of partner companies. In this column, I have hyperlinked the soft copy of the contract associated with each respective company. However, if a hyperlink is not available, it indicates that the soft copy of the contract is not accessible at the moment.
To streamline the process and enhance clarity in my spreadsheet, I am seeking a formula for a new checkbox column. The objective is to have the checkbox automatically ticked if the partner company name column is hyperlinked and remain unticked if the partner company name column does not contain a hyperlink.
Thanks in advance.

There is no way for a formula to determine if a text string is a hyperlink or not. Checking the box would be a manual process in this case.
