Is it possible to reference another sheet's dropdown list in a formula?
I'm working on a formula to reference another sheet, where the other sheet includes various dropdown menu columns. I want the formula to include an IF statement where, when a cell is selected in the sheet, it populates a corresponding dropdown menu from another sheet. I completed the formula, but the dropdown menu does not appear based on a selection as planned.
I saw similar posts referencing Data Shuttle - is that required to do what I'm attempting?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi @Tony Fronza
I hope you're well and safe!
Do you want to get the value from the dropdown list or the cell in the column of the dropdown list?
Be safe, and have a fantastic weekend!

Hi, @Andrée Starå!
Hope you're well, also, and thanks for responding to my question so quickly!
I'm looking for the latter. I want the dropdown list to populate, not the value (since it's a reference sheet, it will never list a selected value).

Hi Tony,
I understand the challenge you're facing with integrating dropdown menus from another sheet using formulas. I had a similar need and found it frustrating when the dropdown menus didn't update as expected. To address this, I developed a solution that allows dropdowns to auto-populate based on a column from another sheet without the need for Data Shuttle.
You can see how it works in this demo video below: If it seems like a good fit for your needs, you can sign up to use this feature.
I'm happy to answer any questions or provide further assistance.
