Assign multiple people to a row, based on multi select drop down.
Hello,
I have a dropdown where the user can select multiple customers. I need to assign the person or people responsible for the customers selected. I have a customer list sheet and each row is a customer, the customer managers I am trying to pull in are on this sheet. So I need the formula to look at all the customers selected, and pull in all the customer managers required based on the customer list sheet. I know index/match can't do it. Not sure if I need to use join/collect or something else? But I can't seem to get it to work. Entering each customer on a separate form is not an option, the user might select 50 customers, so I can't have them entering 50 forms. I need to automatically pull in the customer managers responsible for those customers.

Hi @mccoy_FSI
I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!
Here's a possible workaround or workarounds
- Set up a workflow with the assign people action for each possible option
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!
Best,

@Andrée Starå with regards to the workaround/workflow I have 139 different country options that a user could select and of those I have 22 different contacts that manage those countries. For your work around, from what I understand, i'd have to create 139 workflows for each of the countries to then assign the correct contact? If that is the case i have one primary contact field that allows for multiple values as well, would i be able to stack all the associated contacts into the same cell or would they each need their own cell?
