Merging Community profiles

Hi @Genevieve P.,

Can you plrease assist me to merge my two Community profiles. One uses a shortened alias version of my email address and has most of my old discussion/idea threads. The other profile (this one) has my full name email address and now also has my product and sales certifications attached. I am hoping that I don't lose any of my history!

    Thanks for the tag and the headsup! We can update current profiles to be associated with a new email, however I am not sure if it's possible to merge two accounts together.

    If we can, which of your two profiles/emails should be the only one with a Community account?

    Preferably, keep my full name email address (display name: Adrian @Chess, account id: Adrian_M73016), as this email is associated with my certifications (oddly Sales doesn't appear there yet)

    The other alias one (display name Adrian @ Chess, account id: Adrian@Chess_M256961) is the one I first started using for ideas/discussions and was most active in before getting certified.

    It gets very confusing for me even to remember which account I'm in! If you can't merge the two, can I at least change my public name perhaps?

    Unfortunately if you no longer have access to an old email that posted in the Community, for security reasons we are unable to delete that email or replace that old email with a new one without verification.

    I am hoping that even though this is an old thread you can help out with a similar problem. I am the same user as @AKnight and was wondering if I could get a couple of the badges moved over to my personal account? This is the account I use for a different company, but I am at risk of losing access once my contract for them expires.

    Some badges are tied to your email, but depending on which ones they are, it is possible. You can fill in this form to request profile updates, and we recommend you do it while you still have access to the "old email" from the other company. Just make sure to explain the situation, and which badges you want on the "Comments or Notes" section.
