copy and paste glitch

Hi, I am copying data from one sheet to another and am experiencing issues:

When highlighting the cells or row and copying and pasting into the new sheet, some of the cells will appear in cells in the rows below so I have to manually move them back to the correct cell in the correct row.

I have tried using the copy to another sheet function but when it transfers to the new sheet information is missing in the row.

I also tried using the import & export function which does seem to transfer all the data correctly but it wipes all other information previously entered into the new sheet.

I have also tried logging in and out of Smartsheet as noted in some other discussions but the error persists.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue/ know of a work around?
