Auto add dates to next tasks based on a previous task marked as complete
I colleague asked for my help with this setup...
Every month there are recurring tasks. The task rows are setup, but the task dates get triggered based on the previous month completion. Is there a way to auto populate the dates for the consecutive month vs. reentering dates each month? The duration of each task is set.
Thank you,
Becky

Are you able to provide some screenshots for context?

Hi @brhea110891
I hope you're well and safe!
I've developed a couple of client solutions similar to your description.
Can you share some screenshots so I can better understand what you need? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help.
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

Thank you, Andree.
It occurred to me after submitting my question that one way to address my need was to use predecessors in a project. There is still some monthly maintenance, but I was able to set it up in a way that made it so much faster.
Thank you,
Becky
