Administrator Approvals
Has anyone else had issues with the approvals for downloads in Brandfolder? I have selected my self as the sole Admin to approve requests because all other Admins were receiving emails and we were not sure who was approving assets. But everyone is still receiving emails. We have checked and double checked that my email address is the only one selected, but to no avail. Any help would be really welcome.

We have not used approvals for downloads, so unfortunately I don't know any tricks on this!

We have found that selecting only 1 Admin for approvals has an adverse effect. It doesn't stop the emails, as hoped, but it does stop the other admins being able to upload images them selves. It now requires me to approve all uploads too.

Hope you're doing well.
We would recommend having your team check their Notification Settings. You can find them by clicking your name in the top right hand corner of Brandfolder > My Profile > and then Notification Settings on the left hand side. Here, you and your team can toggle email notifications on and off for different Brandfolders and Collections. Here's an article about Notifications that will walk you through the process I outlined above and more information as to why your team is still receiving the emails.

Thanks Rebecca, I can see that as a viable work around, and will start testing it right away, thankyou. It does raise the question about what approvals is for.
As below the statement suggests it that the Admins would be required to action something, ie downloads. But removing their names also removes their ability to approve their own uploads.
Maybe a glitch? Ive tried looking for a feature request for Brandfolder but there is only Smartsheet feature request that I can see.

@Rebeca S. sadly the rest of my Admins are still receiving the messages, even when they only have one collection selected. And not the one requiring permission to download. Welcome to any other suggestions please :).
