How do I get real time updates?

I am working to monitor multiple form submissions within our smartsheet. Is there a widget that I can use that will update in real time with the submitted forms?

Absolutely!

I have 2 forms that feed in to 2 separate sheets. I would like to be able to have a widget for each sheet on my personal dashboard that would update in real time as submissions are captured by the forms.

I am hoping to cut down on the time it takes to open each sheet individually and see what is going on by having some kind of snapshot available to view as I start each day.

You could embed the sheets or use reports in the dashboard and then change it to update every minute. That's the closest to real-time.
