PDF attachments as output to Smartsheet Row Data.

Dear Community,

We have a case where we would like to add contract PDF's as attachment to Smartsheet and the data from the contract like contractor name, date signed etc. shall be replicated to the columns. I know it's not possible but I was thinking of such solution:

a) Using Zapier connect Smartsheet and PDF.co so the PDF will be converted into CSV.

b) Using Data Shuttle replicate the data from CSV file to the columns in Smartsheet.

Has anyone tried that?

You could use Zapier and their parser or another to parse out the information and add it to Smartsheet.

I recently did this for one of my clients with emails coming from another service. Works great!

Also, could you maybe use the data syncing feature? (if you're using DocuSign for the contract part)

1. Optional: Enable data syncing. Select the columns you want to sync. 
   • When your e-sign recipients update the matching DocuSign fields, your Smartsheet columns will update.
