Control Center Global Updates Modify Existing Column

I did global updates in modifying existing column, the column is dropdown type (single select), the current template has setting "Restirct to Dropdown values only". I unchecked the "Restrict to dropdown values only" to disable, then test in one of the provisioned demo sheet, only to find out that it desn't work, still the column dropdown is enable restrict to dropdown values only".

Please make this work.
