Smartsheet University: eLearning Core App path & Badge for $199 vs Core App Path for $849

Two Questions:

1) What is the difference between these two options in Smartsheet University, aside from cost?

And just a comment: It would be great if the courses could be compared with each other, to better evaluate which is most appropriate for a user, at any given point in their learning process.

2) Are there any no-cost resources to achieve skills Badges, for a user with a Business Plan license?

And a comment: It would be great if the pricing were posted for additional options, such as Smartsheet University All Access Subscription, or the Support packages that include All Access. It would inform choices in purchasing learning paths individually vs. a subscription.

Both of the links go to the same place, however I believe what you're referring to in the second link is the Core App Path that is Instructor Led in a virtual classroom, versus the eLearning course that you do on your own.

Thank you for your answer. I put the wrong link in my question for the $849 Core App Path option. It is corrected below. And it does not mention any instructor-led courses, per the description pasted below.

The $199 option mentions earning Badges. The $849 option does not mention earning Badges. Is one of these redundant over the other?

Yes exactly! 🙂

The first link is to the virtual eLearning courses that you do on your own at your own time. (Videos, click-through training, etc.)
The second link is to the Instructor Led training, like a virtual classroom with a real person going through the material. These have set times where you register to attend each part of the course with a specific instructor.

Both of them end in Capstone quiz that offer you the opportunity to get a Badge (note that this is different from a Certification).

Although the specific page you linked to doesn't say "instructor led" on it, if you click on the Contents to the right you'll see that they're instructor led (hence the price difference):

You should also be able to see this from the main home page, when searching for courses:

Thank you for the clarification. However, I do not see a link to instructor-led courses under Contents on the higher-prices Core App Path. And when I click to buy it, it does not show a list of the instructor-led courses to choose from. Are they pre-recorded videos?

For the second link, the Instructor Led Training, this training is live over video. You'll receive a recording of it after the class as well. (See: Smartsheet University All Access)
