I am new to Dynamic view. Can I create dynamic drop downs with it? If so how?

I have a huge list of employees with their associated manager. I want to create a drop down across all of my sheets for employee name and I want the list to shrink based on the state they are entering data for. Each state should only see it's own so I assume I have to create workspace for each state or does Dynamic View fix that too?

Dynamic View is strictly a viewing tool. You can use logic to show/hide columns and whatnot, but at the end of the day, the back-end is that of the source sheet.
