Requesting updates on multiple records

Scenario is that I have 100's of records requiring routine updates. I know I can create an automation to require updates, but my question is - is there a way to allow the user to update a portion of the records and save without submitting all. Once submitted the link is no longer available. It may take the users some time to review, address and provide the updates.
