Can you add dates to a stacked bar chart in the dashboard?

I am pulling together a stacked bar chart in the dashboard showing different project statuses and timelines. However, I believe the bar chart only allows you to pull numerical data, which is why I've been having to use the number of days to show the project duration instead of actual start and end dates. Is there a way to add dates to this chart instead of just seeing the length of the project in days?

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!
