Can you programmatically setup a filter in an Excel file and take the results of the filter and put the results into an existing Smartsheet?

I believe so.

Normally I do these types of interactions programmatically.

You can load your file in a programming language of choice (mine is usually Python), filter as needed, and then take that result set and push into Smartsheet.
