Is there a way to impersonate Organization users views?

Often I want to see what my users see in order to help or prevent an issue. Being the system admin I am often shocked how my clean structure is displayed for those who may only have access to a single sheet in a workspace, and not the entire workspace. Is there a way I can impersonate another users? This can also help me troubleshoot other issues.

Hi @David A

I have two Smartsheet accounts in our Enterprise system. One is under my name and the other is my alter ego The Admin, this may be something you can setup. I setup most processes under the Admin account and will use my user account to test. I believe its good practice to setup a service account for anything that is widely used particularly for DataMesh, Dynamic View, Data Shuttle, Pivots, etc.

I also wish I could use my smartsheet sysadmin account to masquerade as other users to see their 'view' of reports so I can help troubleshoot issues for them without having to make them share their screen with me.

@Samscho been a while since I posted that. The answer is to use the "Assume User" function in the API.
