Filtering out Status based on two criteria - Not working!

Hi,

I'm at a loss and could use some guidance please!

I'm running a report from my project plan to see Customer Tasks Statues by Phase if status is not "Complete" or "Not Required". The Complete status don't show but the "Not Required" do.

I have tried all the options (Is not blank, Is not equal to, does not contain, is not one of) to no avail. It filters out Complete but shows Not Required statuses).

When I go into the project and set filters, it works correctly (filtering out Complete and Not Required statuses).

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

    Hi @Kathy PPT !

I think you may just need to change the "OR" with the first two filter conditions to "AND"

it looks like the "Complete" items are correctly filtered out because those would be at 100% (another condition you have set).

    Does that work?

@Kathy PPT Glad to help and glad you got your report working as you wanted! …Using "AND" for those conditions in the filter means you want to exclude both records with Complete or Not Required status.

If the Status column is a drop-down, you could also change the filter to "is not one of" and select both the Complete and not Required statuses (all in the same 'condition") rather than having two lines in your filter for that. End result will be the same!

have a great rest of your day. :)

@Jennifer Kurtz - Thank you, you were right! Though I don't quite understand how it works as a row can't have both Complete and Not Required status.
