Smartsheet for Curriculum Planning & Execution

Hello Friends,

Have any of you used Smartsheet for curriculum planning in public education or employee training? I am in the process of building a 4 year high school business and technology program and am considering using Smartsheet, or something similar, to develop a plan.

Hi there Jon,

What you are wanting to build is definitely possible down to the infrastructure's core depending on what level of Smartsheet you have access to (Enterprise is typically capable of handling most solutions).

You can build course/lesson planning databases and automations for proofing and approvals; track student applications, approvals, onboarding, and even develop LMS style dashboards and course programs and reporting/dashboards for students to track their status/progress as well as the employees assigned to teaching the lessons and infrastructure to manage the HR portions of that aspect.

The only thing I'd have to mention is, although its possible -- you'd need to ensure you can find the person who can build it, sustain it, and scale w your school and program.
