Turning folder into template


I have created sheet, dashboard, and reports for my team. I want them to use these as templates and be able to customize them without changing the templates. Originally, I had put them in shared workspace , however it was breaking the reports that were on dashboard as team members were changing the name of the sheet when they made their changes. Is there a way I can turn these into templates similar to ones we can download from Smartsheet? Ideally I want my team members to just download these and do not have to worry about changing the master template or have to relink reports on the dashboard.
