Upload attachments from Master sheet to individual Project sheets
Hello,
I am attempting to upload an attachment from a Master sheet (collected through a single form) and distribute results to several sheets (corresponding projects) based on a unique identifier (project ID).
Copy/Move Rows does not allow me to have conditional logic and distribute where I send the attachment to - I have to pick exactly where I deposit the attachment.
Data Shuttle does not allow me to offload on a triggered event (such as the creation of an attachment or new row), only on a schedule. It also does not allow me to offload attachments (csv).
I do not want to create a report and merge records, I need the destination project sheets for other functions / automations.
Is there a solution for this?
Regards,
Hytham

You can include conditions in a Copy/Move row automation.

You can only add a condition prior to the Copy/Move row automation not within one.
Also, to use the prior condition, you need to define the exact value (i.e. Project ID) instead of linking the value to another sheet.
Again, the use case is here is to filter by a Project ID column (instead of choosing an exact value) and distribute rows from a Master sheet to the corresponding Project sheet based on the Project ID link.

Right. you would set the condition for where [Project ID] is "XYZ" and then set the recipient sheet as the "XYZ sheet". Duplicate the automation, update the condition for "ABC", update the recipient sheet to be "ABC", duplicate the automation, so on and so forth.

What if you have 100 projects? Is the suggestion to create an automation for every instance per Project ID?

Thanks. I will submit the Enhancement Request.
