DocuSign/Generate a Document with Multiple Mappings on single Sheet
New to DocuSign integration and performing some test messages. Have run into some challenges.
Situation: I have a single Sheet that lists all our active projects. When a PM needs to obtain signoff for a single row there are multiple "forms" they could use depending on the project type, therefore I have created a Smartsheet mapping for each corresponding DocuSign form. Only ONE mapping will be selected by the PM per row when using Generate Documents.
Questions:
- Does each mapping need it's own "status" tracking column on the sheet? (I find when I try to use the same column name on the subsequent mappings, it tells me it is already in use)
- How do I adjust who's DocuSign account the "Draft" or "Sent" file is in (in testing, my colleague generated the document off a mapping I created, but it was only found in my pending list in my DocuSign account, not Her's.)
- How long does it take the status column to update? (Signature completed over an hour ago, and status still shows "created", no completed attachment)
Thanks.

Hello @HID_Funari
In answer to your questions:
- Yes, each mapping needs its own status tracking column for now. I have already submitted a feature request here, if you're interested in upvoting this suggestion.
- To my knowledge, each PM that generates a document, does not have the option of ensuring they use their own DocuSign account unless they decide to edit the document first (clicking the pencil button, settings, Step 2 'Connect to DocuSign' where they will need to Log Out and attempt to log in with their own credentials. That said, I understand that DocuSign has the ability to set Permission Profiles "to control what your users can view and modify in the account."
- The status column update is normally almost instantaneous. I noticed significant delays when I was originally testing connections and response times and put this down to (hypothetically) staying logged into DocuSign and the edit screen of the generate document. I'm assuming the status within DocuSign says it complete?
Hope this helps and that you have a great day,
