Sorting in Card View

When I sort the sheet with conditional formatting it works fine. When I change to card view, it seems to lose some of the sorting. Any thoughts?

Sorting in Grid View does not adjust the Card View order. Please feel free to add your vote and voice to this Product Idea:

Date Formula Help Needed!
