Change Dates w/ CNT F
I can't seem to use the "CTRL F" function to change the years in the dates columns. For instance, I want to change Dec 25, 2023 to Dec 25, 2024. All I need to change is "2023" to "2024". Nothing seems to bring up the Dec 25, 2023 date no matter how I search. Can someone please let me know how to find such dates and then replace in this case only the year?

You will need to enter the full date in the search and have it replace with a full date.

I just tried it in a sheet with no problem. Can you provide screenshots to show exactly what steps you are taking?

Using the "F" function it only goes to the cells that are text cells that contain "2023". I tried a few other ways with the F function but it never goes to a date column.
Thanks.

Thanks Paul. Only wish all the dates would be the same in 2024 but for the most part I have like 150 tasks and very few have the same dates in 2023. That will carry over to 2024.

How often will you need to update the year? Is it something you will regularly be doing? We may be able to set up some helper columns and use a formula to output the date based on those helper columns. Since the year would be separate, you would be able to use the CTRL + F to find and replace the year in groups the way you are wanting.
