How can we transfer the ownership of a Smartsheet to another team member when the original owner is absent for a prolonged period of time?

1. Standard Transfer with Active Owner:
   • If you possess admin rights and the original owner can acknowledge your ownership transfer request, proceed with a standard transfer-ownership request.(*)
2. Transfer When the Original Owner is Inactive:
   • If you have admin privileges, but the original owner is unresponsive:Create a new workspace.
   • Move the sheet to this workspace, making you the new owner.
   • Important Note: The sheet's original collaborators (admins, editors, viewers) must be re-added either at the workspace or sheet level. To bypass this step, you can replicate the entire workspace with the sharing option enabled. If there are workflows set to move or copy rows, manually modify the target sheet to the newly established one within the workspace.
3. When You Lack Admin Privileges:
   • Duplicate the sheet.
   • Adjust the workflow as delineated above, ensuring smooth operation.
