Alphabetisation

Hi, does anyone have any ideas to achieve consistent results in alphabetisation?

The example I have is that I have taken over a number of projects and I am trying to add in links to set-up automation etc.

I have a list of folders, eg

Pama...

Pamb...

PAM che..

In the Browse view they are in this order, yet when adding links to sheets within these folders PAM Che.. is the first result under P

It's as if Smartsheets is arguing with itself. Any ideas?

You could add 01, 001, or similar to ensure it shows in the correct order.

I've completed the task now, but it just seemed odd that the two views treated alphabetisation differently within the same application.

I've got numbers used to designate sub-sub-folders, and I've picked up what someone else had started, so didn't want to change too much at first go - ease them in gently type of scenario.

I was unaware that the alphabetization was different from the Cell Link view vs. the Browse view. It looks like spaces are being read differently. Thanks for pointing this out, we appreciate your feedback!

It's not too much of an issue, but when transposing lots of data and you're in 'the zone' having to search by two parameters gets confusing.
