Merge row attachments and/or automatically rename attachments

We regularly have up to 5-6 attachments per row and periodically transfer the attachments for each row into our business system as one file. It has become cumbersome to merge each row and rename everything. Currently, we are renaming the files on each row the same, then using a program to merge items with the same name, then uploading these to our business system.


Any of these solutions would make life severely less carpal-tunnel inducing:

  1. Create a column type that you can type a formula into to pre-determined file names for that row. Must also change names retroactively.
  2. Allow us to merge row attachments into one - either replacing existing files or as an option upon downloading all sheet attachments.
