Request an Update without having the sheet link in the message?
Hi everyone,
When using a 'Request an Update' automation for external (or internal) users that do not have the sheet shared to them, I do Not want to include the sheet link or any extra cells in the email itself - only the message and form link.
For example, in the screenshot below I simply want to send the message with the web links and request that they add a comment through the form that is generated. Having to add another field (e.g. name) to make it work and having the sheet link automatically attached to the email seems inevitable.
The problem is - people try to click on the sheet link, see they don't have access, then request access (which will not be granted). It's confusing for the customers.
Has anyone found a work-around to remove the link?
Thanks!

Hi @Josh W
There currently isn't a way to remove the sheet link from Update Request type of workflows. Please add your vote and voice to this Product Idea: Option to Not Include Sheet Link on Notifications
