Calendar APP. trying to consolidate lines for a schedule

I'm trying to create an Install Schedule for our Field team. We have multiple items for One job site. See below. there are Multiple Installations going on for DH-Prickett. We don't need ALL these entries on the Install Schedule we would just need one line. Other than changing the underlying sheet to a parent child (I want to avoid that type of work on the user end) Is there a way to just schedule one line?

Could do this via a report if you have a job to group the items like Job # / Name. And then group the report and show First / Last date.

I tried that. it doesn't allow you to enter in the "grouped" row

To have data appear in that Grouped row, you'd need to select the Summary option from the menu, next to Group. Then you can decide if you want to show the FIRST or the LAST date:
