Link Cells

I have had this problem like a year ago but now back again. I link cells from a source sheet. The link seems to work as I can see it maps back to source sheet. But the data does not show.

I have spent a good 30 minutes linking and unlinking. Tried to format the cells linked. Nothing shows even though if i hover I see cells linked to source file.

Are both columns formatted the same? i.e. the link cell column and destination column both formatted to dates or text etc?

If you've only just created the cell link, you may need to Save and Refresh the sheet for the data to pull through for the first time. Let us know if this is still happening after the weekend, once you've had a chance to refresh the sheets.
