The confirmation email that can be sent from a form to the person submitting the form is very useful. How can I send that same confirmation email to a group I specify when the form is submitted? I have tried to use workflow but it doesn't appear to be able to give me what I want.

It's not quite the same as a form confirmation email, but you can send an alert to "everyone shared on this sheet."
In that case, you can use groups.
The message looks like this;

This is the auto generated confirmation email I get when I check the box to have the form send me a confirmation email. I want this email sent to other recipients I designate when the form is submitted.
