Duplicate Rich Text Widgets to another dashboard

Hi,

We have a project that has a SS dashboard with all the updates ("Master Dashboard"). We have another dashboard that would duplicate some of the RT widgets from the Master Dashboard. How can we do this automatically? Trying to avoid duplicated efforts for the same exact content.

The content has some rich formatting, so can't really use metrics widgets.

I am not entirely sure what your question is, so I will give you a couple of solutions:

(1) If you are asking about copying a static RT widget - You can just copy the widget and paste it directly on to the Secondary Dashboard as long as you are in the same browser with both tabs.

(2) If you are asking about an RT widget with content is constantly being updated and your question is how to bring that information to your other dashboard. In that instance, there is no way to do this inside Smartsheet at this time. Because widgets need to have a source (except for an RT or Title widget), and those sources can only be sheets or reports, not dashboards. RT widgets are usually static content, so there is no need for a source.

Thanks, Michelle. Your point (2) is what I'm asking. Ideally if we can have the regular updates constantly sync, we can save time maintaining various dashboards. It is a pity SS doesn't have that capability.
