Alert email not going out

Hi,

I set up an alert as shown below. It is not working. It only worked when I clicked the option to send "links to sheet & fields". However, I do not want to do that because the sheet has confidential information & the recipients only want to get a simple message with a link to a dynamic view I built separately. I have checked every conceivable setting to ensure the email goes out, but to no avail. What am I doing wrong? I have never encountered this issue with any of my other Smartsheets...

There could be a number of reasons why it is not being sent.

Sometimes the recipients have email permissions to prevent notifications from domains such as app.smartsheet, or if you have setup custom email domains within smartsheet, it could be blocking from your personal domain.

Alternatively, if the receiver does not have a smartsheet account, you may need to setup "Unrestricted" option. You can see more details about this here

The alerts are to go out to the individual in the contact column.

Did you send them to those individuals now too, or are you just testing it?
