dimensions for a banner

Hello.

I would like to know the dimensions for a banner in a dashboard. How much are the pixels recommended.

I've tested some (like 1.080x270) and I don´t find the results desired. When I select adjust->complete in the image, the resolution is smoothed. Using adjust or real high it doesn't adapt at all.

I want the banner fits all the wide of the dashboard

I've always used something like 1800x252 for page banners. Make sure to select the fit option for the image widget
